Colin Curvey

Co-Head, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Prior to joining AMC in 2011, Colin was a Partner with the London-based private equity firm Duke Street, an Equity Research Analyst for Celfin in Santiago, Chile (now BTG Pactual), and an investment banker with Morgan Stanley. Colin’s career in private equity and investment banking spans more than 20 years.

 

Colin holds a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Eileen Fargis

Eileen Fargis

Co-Head, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Prior to joining AMC in 2010, Eileen was a Managing Director with GE Capital overseeing investments in energy, infrastructure and other capital-intensive industries, including in emerging markets, worked in the capital management division of an insurance company, and at the law firm Skadden Arps.

 

Eileen holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Carlos Reyes

Carlos Reyes

Principal, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Prior to joining AMC in 2011, Carlos held several senior roles at BP including Strategy Advisor CEO’s Office and Director E&P for the M&A Group. He has previously worked as a senior analyst at the World Bank and also served as a consultant to several energy multinationals in Spain. He is also member of the ALAC Fund and China Mexico Fund investment committees at AMC.

 

Carlos holds a BA in Economics from the University of Barcelona, an MBA from the Yale University School of Management, and an MA in International Public Policy from George Mason University. nbsp;

Obinna  Isiadinso

Senior Investment Manager, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Obinna joined AMC in December 2015 as part of the IFC African, Latin American and Caribbean Fund. Prior to joining AMC, Obinna was a Vice President at ARM Private Equity, a Principal with Development Partners International, and held various investment roles at Laurus Capital Management and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.

 

Obinna holds a BA of Business Administration from Baruch College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Robert Toigo Fellow.

Eduardo Garcia

Eduardo joined AMC in 2012 as part of the ALAC Fund team. Prior to joining AMC, Eduardo worked in IFC’s Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services department. Eduardo has also worked in the corporate finance divisions of KPMG and Deutsche Bank.

 

Eduardo holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo and an MSc in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Linda joined AMC in 2011 to work in the ALAC Fund team. Prior to joining AMC, Linda was an associate in Lehman Brothers’ Private Equity Division and an analyst in Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Division.

 

Linda holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Higor joined AMC in 2011 as part of the ALAC Fund team. Prior to joining AMC, Higor worked at Votorantim New Busines, the private equity and venture capital arm of Votorantim Group.

 

Higor holds a BSc in Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica in Brazil and an MBA from Harvard Business School. 

Mohsin Sohani

Prior to joining AMC in 2013, Mohsin was an Associate at HIP Consult, a boutique strategy and management consulting firm where he advised clients in emerging markets on large infrastructure investments and project management. Previously, he was an analyst at NERA Economic Consulting (Oliver Wyman Group).

 

Mohsin holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MA in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins, and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Steve Brady

Steve Brady

Investment Manager, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Steve returned to AMC in 2014 as part of the ALAC Fund team, after a two-year hiatus to obtain his MBA. Prior to joining ALAC, Steve worked as an analyst at AMC from 2010 to 2012. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group.

 

Steve holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. 

Carole Okigbo

Carole Okigbo

Investment Manager, IFC African, Latin American & Caribbean Fund

Carole joined AMC in 2014 as part of the ALAC Fund team. Prior to joining AMC, Carole was an associate in Standard Bank’s Investment Banking Division focusing on emerging market Mergers and Acquisitions. Carole began her career at Citigroup’s Investment Banking division in New York and later focused on technology Mergers and Acquisitions at Savvian Advisors.

 

Carole holds both a BSc in Economics and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
