Ruth

Ruth joined AMC in July 2023. Her career spans international law firms and international organizations where she has provided legal advice on various legal issues, primarily in legal compliance, due diligence, and investment law. Ruth has held positions that include an Associate at Dentons' Nairobi office, a lawyer at Anjarwalla & Khanna, a graduate extern at MIGA, and more recently a legal consultant at UNDESA and Sidley's Emerging Enterprises Pro Bono Program.

 

Ricardo

Ricardo joined the AMC team in June 2023.  Previously Ricardo worked at the World Bank Group (“WBG”) with the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (“GFDRR”) as a Communications and Reporting Consultant for the trust fund programs. He was responsible for strategic communications planning, knowledge dissemination and outreach to promote programs and initiatives in the South Asea region. Further, he coordinated activities related to fundraising, including preparation of project profiles and reports for donor countries, and the execution of forums and events.

 

Ramita

Ramita joined AMC in October 2015. Prior to joining AMC, Ramita led the Program Management Office for the Finance IT unit within the World Bank Group Information Technology Solutions VPU. In this role, she oversaw technology strategy development, program and project management, IT governance, and client relationship management to ensure full alignment of business and IT priorities in the finance domain. Ramita also spent 10 years developing Finance IT solutions in SAP.

 

Mao

Mao joined AMC in June 2016 as Counsel with the Legal team. Prior to joining AMC, Mao was of counsel at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP in Beijing, representing venture capital and private equity investors in their investment transactions, as well as startups and emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles.

Mona

Prior to joining AMC in 2011, Mona was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP in London advising institutional and boutique sponsors of private equity investment funds in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, including leveraged buyout funds, emerging markets funds, fund of funds and mezzanine funds.

 

Mona holds a BA in political science and history from Virginia Tech, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a JD from the University of Virginia.
